The Islamic Society of Tulsa invites Tulsans of all faiths to join us for prayers for the people of Boston, especially the victims of the bombing, their families, the spectators, race organizers, first responders, the medical professionals, onsite and in the responding hospitals, law enforcement, the general population and runners everywhere.
For Oklahomans, this is an especially poignant time of year. The OKC Memorial Marathon is this weekend. We hope that you can join us for a few moments to savor our sense of community.

Okla. Interfaith Groups Call for Prayers for Boston Marathon Victims
(OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, 4/16/13)—The Council on American-Islamic Relations Oklahoma Chapter (CAIR-OK), the Interfaith Alliance of Oklahoma, and the Oklahoma Conference of Churches leaders are asking for prayers for those whose lives have been impacted by the bombings in Boston, Massachusetts on Monday, April 15th. Know your Muslim neighbor yearly series
This year, know your Muslim neighbor series presentation will be on the topic of "Do you know this man?". It will include
presentations about Holy Prophet of Islam - Prophet Muhammad - peace be upon him. The series of lectures are free and open
for everyone to attend. Great speakers will be presenting on this topic. Please invite your friends, co-workers and come with
your family. There will be a lot of wisdom and knowledge shared using the life of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. The lectures
will be held at the Mosque on October 15th, October 22nd and October 29th of 2012 (All mondays).
Story Night - By Nouman Ali Khan in Tulsa
Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan - a great motivational speaker who has his charm all over the United States
is coming to Tulsa on 9-28-2012. He will be delivering the Friday Sermon (Khutbah) followed by a lunch and learn session.
The main program "Story Night" will start at 7pm and continue until 10pm. It will be held at Peace Academy School.

EID Prayer will be held on Sunday August 19th, 2012 at 9:00am.
Please note the place of Eid prayer has changed. It's NOT going to be held at the Masjid. We are doing it this year at the Tulsa Convention Center in DownTown Tulsa.
